This was a great dress for my courthouse wedding! Everyone said it was classic and timeless. The fit was excellent without too much added bulk.

I got married in this beautiful dress and it fit perfect to my size . I also loved the pockets where I put my lipstick.

I ordered this online, and when I received it, it was so awfully creased from shipping, I thought the design was the problem. The skirt was so creased at the sides (where the pockets are) that the dress was flattened - it stuck out at the sides, all the volume was going to the side so that it was a ridiculous flare when viewed from the front and weirdly flat when you turn to the side. I almost just returned it, because straightening out seemed like a lot of trouble. The dress is meant to have certain creases to give it the right shape and look, and many of those aren't following seams or anything. So in ironing out the creases that make it look terrible, you have to make sure not to flatten out the ones that are needed or else you'll create a different problem in fixing the first one. There's a crinoline underneath to navigate around, too.

I stuck with it, because I'm completely unreasonable, I suppose. It took several hours, and ultimately I couldn't keep track of things on the ironing board, I had to switch to steaming. Really, if I could have found anything like this I would have returned it and purchased something else instead. I love that it's such a classic look - it really feels like someone in the 50s might have gotten married in this dress. There's not much out there along those lines, and it's perfect for my rehearsal dinner venue.

Personally, I don't love the fabric. In part because it keeps creases so thoroughly (some of the wrinkles will never be fully gone), and in part because I just prefer natural fibers. I knew when I got it that it would be polyester, and while it's a somewhat nice polyester, that fabric can only be so "nice". There's not really any stretch, it doesn't breathe, and it feels a bit plasticy - but that's just the nature of the beast. I wish more companies would make dresses like this from silk, linen, wool, etc.

The fit is alright. I ordered a size 4, and the waist is definitely a couple inches two too big. When I was professionally measured for my wedding gown, my waist was 27.5 inches - exactly the size listed on the Adrianna Pappell size chart for a 4. My bust was a couple inches short of the size chart, and it is a bit big, but not terrible so. Oddly, the back is rather ill-fitting - it gapes in the shoulders in the back. I may try to take it in a bit myself. Maybe if you're a C or D cup you wouldn't have that problem. Or if you have a very strong upper back/shoulder area?
All in all, it's alright and better than nothing but I probably won't bother to pay Adrianna Pappell prices again for the quality of what I received.

I wore this at my civil wedding. Paired it with a birdcage veil and some cute hair accessories. It was perfect. Make sure you order the correct size. The mikado has no stretch.

Purchased for my 12 yr old for Cotillion end of season dance. Dress was the perfect length and proper fit.

The dress fit was great. It was actually my wedding dress. I bought the rhinestone sash belt for the waist and it looked gorgeous. Has a fit to flare style to it. I got the length shortened to hit right below the knee since I'm only 5'2 and it came down to my ankles. The color is white. Nice and bright. The material is great.
